KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Teaching

• Teach courses in Chinese Studies, English Studies, and other relevant disciplines within the Faculty.
• Assess student performance following the approved training plan.
• Contribute to curriculum development, course outlines, teaching materials, and learning activities.
• Supervise students in assignments, projects, and graduation theses.

Academic Research

• Participate in national and international research projects, conferences, and academic activities.
• Publish research outputs aligned with the Faculty’s research agenda.

Academic & Administrative Service

• Support quality assurance, accreditation activities, student recruitment, communication initiatives, and academic events.
• Join Faculty and University projects, events, and committees as assigned.

Professional Development

• Attend training programs, workshops, and seminars to enhance teaching and research capacity.
• Continuously update knowledge and pedagogical methods.

Other Duties

• Perform tasks assigned by the Dean and the University.

QUALIFICATIONS

Academic Qualifications

• Doctoral degree (preferred) or higher in Chinese Studies, English Studies, or relevant fields.
• Certificate of professional competence for university lecturers as required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in teaching or an equivalent academic role.

Required Competencies

• Solid knowledge of assigned disciplines and related fields.
• Ability to design and deliver courses according to program outcomes.
• Understanding of current academic trends and research directions in the field.
• Capacity for scientific research and international publication.
• Ability to teach in English.
• Proficient in applying educational technology.

Preferred Qualifications

• International publications (Scopus/ISI).
• PhD degree or near completion of a PhD program.
• Graduate of internationally accredited universities.
• Experience at reputable higher education institutions in Vietnam.
