KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Teaching & Academic Development:

• Deliver undergraduate-level courses in Industrial Design, Interior Design, Graphic Design, Fashion Design, Digital Arts, Interactive Media Design, and related disciplines.
• Assess and evaluate student performance in line with academic standards and program requirements.
• Contribute to the development of curricula, course syllabi, textbooks, and lecture materials.

Research:

• Conduct academic research; publish in national and international journals.
• Participate in conferences, workshops, and other academic activities.

Faculty & University Engagement:

• Support faculty-level and university-level activities, including accreditation, student recruitment, communication campaigns, and academic/cultural events.
• Engage in professional development programs to enhance expertise, teaching methodologies, and research capacity.
• Undertake other academic or administrative duties as assigned by the Dean or Rector.

REQUIREMENTS

Education:

• Master’s or PhD degree in Art History and Theory, Fine Arts, Applied Arts, Graphic Design, Fashion Design, Industrial Design, Theatre/Film Design, or related fields.
• Certificate of Professional Title Standards for Lecturers (as required by regulations).

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a relevant discipline.

Skills:

• Comprehensive knowledge of art, design, and related disciplines.
• Ability to deliver courses aligned with program objectives and learning outcomes.
• Strong awareness of current trends and research directions in design and creative industries, both in Vietnam and internationally.
• Demonstrated research capability with potential for international publications.
• Ability to teach courses in English.
• Proficiency in applying information technology in teaching and professional tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Candidates with international publications.
• PhD degree holders or candidates close to completion of a PhD program.
• Graduates from international universities.
• Teaching or research experience at prestigious universities in Vietnam.
