The Lecturer in Architecture plays a key role in educating the next generation of architects. This position is designed to deliver specialized knowledge, foster creativity, and equip students with the professional competencies required for international standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Teaching & Academic Development:

  • Deliver courses in Architecture, including Urban Design, Interior Design, and Industrial Arts.
  • Develop and update curricula, syllabi, and instructional materials.
  • Supervise student projects, theses, and provide academic advising.

Research:

  • Conduct and/or lead research projects in the field of Architecture at university and ministry levels.
  • Publish scholarly articles in reputable national and international journals.

Community Service & Faculty/University Activities:

  • Support student recruitment, quality assurance, communications, and professional events.
  • Organize and participate in workshops, seminars, and international collaborations.
  • Fulfill assigned KPIs and other tasks as required.

Professional Development:

  • Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance teaching and research capacity.
  • Engage in self-study and continuous learning to update knowledge and skills in line with professional and societal needs.

REQUIREMENTS

Education

  • A PhD or master’s degree in architecture, Interior Design, Urban Design, or related fields.
  • Certification in Lecturer Professional Standards in accordance with MOET regulations.
  • English proficiency at minimum B1 (CEFR), preferably B2; ability to teach in English is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in IT and design tools such as E-learning platforms, MS Teams, AutoCAD, Revit, etc.

Experience & Expertise

  • At least 2 years of teaching, research, or professional practice in Architecture.
  • Strong understanding of Architecture curricula and awareness of national and international design trends.
  • Effective communication, presentation, and academic advising skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Age between 25–50.
  • International publications or research collaboration with industry.
  • Graduates from prestigious universities in Vietnam and abroad.
  • Candidates pursuing or holding a PhD.
