From October 2025, Van Lang University (VLU) launches two new Master’s programs in Logistics and Supply Chain Management and Automotive Engineering, offering advanced learning opportunities for learners who aspire to develop their careers in key economic and technological sectors.

The Master’s program in Logistics and Supply Chain Management (major code: 8510605) and the Master’s program in Automotive Engineering (major code: 8520130) mark a strategic step forward in Van Lang University’s postgraduate education development. These programs not only meet the urgent demand for high-quality human resources in the era of digital transformation and global integration, but also reinforce VLU’s prestige and position within Vietnam’s multi-disciplinary higher education system.

Master’s in Logistics and Supply Chain Management – Leading the Logistics 5.0 Era

In the context of globalization and digital transformation, Logistics and Supply Chain Management has become a pivotal field, requiring human resources who can integrate specialized knowledge with modern technology. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS AND ELIGIBILITY

1. Requirements for applicants

a. Hold a bachelor’s degree or have met graduation requirements at the undergraduate level (or equivalent or higher) in a relevant field. For research-oriented programs, applicants must graduate with a classification of “Good” or higher, or have scientific publications related to the intended field of study. Applicants with a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field may be required to take additional coursework as specified (these supplementary courses will be determined based on the applicant’s undergraduate transcript)

b. Demonstrate foreign language proficiency at Level 3 or higher according to the Vietnamese Standardized Test of English Proficiency;

c. Undergraduate students at Van Lang University with a cumulative GPA of “Good” or higher may register in advance for certain courses in the Master’s program (Graduate Transfer Program).

d. Applicants must be physically fit for study, not under disciplinary action at the level of formal warning or higher, and not serving a criminal sentence.

(*) Bachelor’s degrees issued by foreign institutions must undergo recognition procedures in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

2. Applicants who are Vietnamese citizens shall meet the foreign language requirement if they satisfy one of the following conditions:

a. Hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in a foreign language major, or a bachelor’s degree or higher in which the program was primarily delivered in a foreign language;

b. Hold a bachelor’s degree or higher from Van Lang University, granted within the past two years, where the program’s graduation requirements already met the Level 3 foreign language standard (under the Vietnamese Standardized Test of English Proficiency);

c. Possess a diploma or foreign language certificate equivalent to Level 3 or higher under the Vietnamese Standardized Test of English Proficiency, or another equivalent certificate recognized by the Ministry of Education and Training, valid at the time of application.

d. Achieve the required score in the English proficiency entrance test for the Master’s level, equivalent to Level 3 of the Vietnamese Standardized Test of English Proficiency, organized by Van Lang University.

3. International applicants who wish to enroll in a Master’s program taught in Vietnamese must achieve Vietnamese language proficiency at Level 4 or higher according to the Vietnamese Language Proficiency Test, or hold a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent or higher) in a program delivered in Vietnamese.

4. Relevant fields and supplementary coursework: Applicants with a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field may be required to take supplementary courses as prescribed (these courses are determined based on the applicant’s undergraduate transcript).

Van Lang University will accept applications for the next Master’s intake from October to December 2025, for 18 programs, including: Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Automotive Engineering, Business Administration, Commerce, Finance and Banking, Accounting, Biotechnology, Architecture, Environmental Engineering, Natural Resources and Environmental Management, Civil Engineering, Economic Law, English Language, Travel and Tourism Management, Hospitality Management, Applied Arts, Applied Art Theory and History, and Public Relations.
