Opening Ceremony of the Official Assessment for 7 Undergraduate Programs at Van Lang University

On September 23, 2025, Van Lang University officially launched the external assessment survey for seven undergraduate programs. The accreditation is conducted by the Saigon Center for Educational Quality Accreditation, aiming to comprehensively evaluate and enhance higher education quality in accordance with national standards.

Currently, Van Lang University has 23 programs accredited at the national level and six programs recognized under the ASEAN University Network – Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) framework. These achievements clearly demonstrate the University’s continuous efforts to cultivate a culture of quality and ensure that all training programs meet the rigorous requirements of Vietnam’s education system.

Following the completion of the official assessment for four master’s programs and two undergraduate programs in August 2025, the University continues the accreditation process for seven additional undergraduate programs, including: Medical Biotechnology, Food Technology, Film and Television Directing, Acting for Stage and Screen, Film and Television, Medical Laboratory Science, Data Science, and Mechatronic Engineering.

In her opening remarks, Dr. Duong Mong Ha, Director of the Saigon Center for Educational Quality Accreditation, acknowledged Van Lang University’s remarkable growth in recent years, highlighting its reputation as a prestigious institution with a clear educational philosophy, strong strategic direction, and meaningful contributions to society. She also praised the University’s commitment to international integration, aligning with global trends and its mission of sustainable education.

With a spirit of openness and continuous improvement, the University sincerely welcomes feedback from the external assessment experts, constantly innovating to meet both national and international standards while delivering a holistic and meaningful learning experience for its students.

The external assessment for seven undergraduate programs takes place from September 23 to 26, 2025. During this period, the expert team will carry out professional activities including document review, stakeholder interviews, facility inspections, and observation of teaching practices to collect data for the external evaluation report.
