“What social media problems in Vietnam can the research solve?” was the topic Dr. Jonathon Hutchinson wanted to address at the seminar. Dr. Jonathon Hutchinson picked Twitter and Youtube as the primary study areas to address this issue because he believes these two forms of social networks are extremely popular in Vietnam.
At the seminar, Van Lang University Public Relations lecturers and seniors freely discussed scientific research in the field of social media communication with Dr. Jonathon Hutchinson. Mai Anh asked about the challenges that young people experience when conducting media research. Dr. Jonathon Hutchinson responded to the question by saying that young people must pay close attention to what action is right and wrong, what should or should not be done, and whether researched behavior violates the law. To classify groups of objects in the best possible way, young people also need to be encouraged to share more.
Hope Dr. Jonathon Hutchinson's knowledge during the seminar could enable Van Lang PR students to have more interesting insights and prepare for their future dissertations.
