Opening Ceremony of the Official Survey for the External Evaluation of 06 Undergraduate Programs

On the journey to position the brand as one of the admired young universities in Asia, Van Lang University continually enhances teaching quality, invests in infrastructure, ensures accreditation according to domestic and international standards to improve programs in parallel with the global education development.

From 2018 to the present, Van Lang University has consistently and successfully carried out quality assurance and accreditation activities according to several domestic and international accreditation standards, at both the program and institutional levels.

After the preliminary survey in October 2023, Van Lang University continues the accreditation process according to national education quality standards for 06 undergraduate programs: Public Relations, Literature, Oriental Studies, Psychology, Economic Law, and Software Engineering.

The External Evaluation Team from the Saigon Center for Education Quality Assurance will conduct the official survey at Van Lang University for 05 days (from October 17 to October 21, 2023). After the opening session, the expert team will proceed with activities such as reviewing self-assessment documents and evidence for each program, interviewing the Council for Program Self-Assessment, Heads of Departments, lecturers, and staff from each program; interview students from each program, and conduct tours and inspections of infrastructure and facilities supporting training activities, … to provide an objective and fair evaluation of the degree of compliance with quality standards for the activities of the 6 programs.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi My Dieu shared during the Opening Ceremony on the morning of October 17: 'The orientation of quality assurance has been the top priority for the university throughout its 28 years of development. Up to now, Van Lang is proud to have made significant improvements, actively seeking feedback from relevant parties for adjustments and modifications to align with the output standards of businesses. The university hopes that the experts will provide the most accurate assessments of the university's activities, especially the 6 programs. From there, important recommendations are made to help the school improve, improve quality and serve as a basis for solutions to continue adjusting in the future."
