Foreign Language Department provides soft skills training for Course 25

(VLU, 11/3/2023) - On the morning of March 10th, 2023, the Faculty of Foreign Languages organized a soft skills training program for Course 25, equipping them with essential knowledge in soft skills to enhance their confidence in job applications after graduation.

The event has the participation of Ms. Nguyen Thi Loan Anh - CEO & Founder of Bloom Advertising Solutions (Bloom Event), Mr. Nguyen Minh Huy - Director of Hung Long Company, Brand Ambassador of Diego Vietnam, Dr. Phan The Hung - Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, and  Ms. Le Thi Ngoc Diep - Vice Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages.

Dr. Phan The Hung, Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, stated: “Creativity, Collaboration, Critical Thinking, and Communication are essential factors when entering the job market in the digital age. Through today's session, I hope you will gain valuable insights and prepare yourself for the upcoming journey.”

Ms. Nguyen Thi Loan Anh - CEO & Founder of Bloom Advertising Solutions (Bloom Event), stated: "As women, let us always dare to pursue our passions and dreams, continually enhance our sense of responsibility, strive to learn and innovate our creative thinking. These are the important keys to success."

During the training session, students discussed and shared their opinions on practical issues, focusing on the importance of applying knowledge and skills in the future. They also discussed various topics related to soft skills with the speakers, such as:

• Experience shared by working professionals
• Ten Rules for Success
• Presentation skills
• The law of attraction

Mr. Nguyen Minh Huy - Director of Hung Long Company, Brand Ambassador of Diego Vietnam, emphasized, "Focusing on the main issue is the key to success. It is the law of attraction. If you want to change your life, try to change from within your thinking. If you don't have plans or dreams, you won't be able to control your life. Transform yourself into a unique, different, and special individual in this universe."

In addition to studying at university, participating in courses to enhance soft skills is also essential because it helps learners develop comprehensively and aligns with the lifelong learning spirit.
