Dr. Thuc Do is the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Tourism at Van Lang University (Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam). She earned her PhD in Tourism Management from the University of Algarve, Portugal, and a Master's degree in Hospitality and Tourism from Queen Margaret University (UK). Her research interests lie in the areas of sharing economy, customer behavior, sustainable tourism, and word-of-mouth intention. Dr. Thuc Do has a solid international background in the Hospitality and Tourism industry, as she spent almost 20 years studying and working across Vietnam, Singapore, and Portugal. Her peers and students recognize her as an active and results-oriented academic, as she consistently applies innovative teaching methods and initiates fruitful international academic collaborations. Additionally, her real-world experience and enthusiasm inspire students to make continuous efforts to become future professional tourism experts in a fast-paced working environment.
