Workshop “Tell & Tales”: Creating Unique Value Through the Art of Storytelling

On November 16, 2024, the C.E.C Club (Commerce English Club) organized the workshop “Tell & Tales” to help students explore the unique and engaging art of storytelling, led by two speakers: Selena Luong, a Content Creator and Founder of Letstalksexuality, and Do Thanh Phong, Head of People, Performance, and Culture at Metub.

Under his guidance, he provided students with an overview of the art of storytelling. He shared that possessing adequate knowledge and skills in storytelling allows the storyteller to convey messages that are engaging and compelling, thereby enhancing the value of the content delivered.

Her message, “MAKE IT REAL, MAKE IT COMPELLING, MAKE IT ACTIONABLE,” encouraged students to be bold and confident when communicating in front of an audience and to continuously improve themselves. She also provided five handy formulas for effective communication: Contents flow, Audiences, Storytelling skills, Slide deck, and Practice.

The workshop concluded with practical values that helped Van Lang students confidently share their stories, build their personal identity, and apply captivating storytelling techniques.
