Workshop "Optimizing BIM MEP work with Automation Applications from HQL - Revit MEP Plugins"

On March 9, 2024, the Faculty of Mechanical - Electrical and Computer Engineering organized a workshop titled "Optimizing BIM MEP Work with Automation Applications from HQL - REVIT MEP PLUGINS", aiming to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of BIM MEP technology in Vietnam.

BIM (Building Information Management) is an advanced technology widely applied in the construction industry, particularly in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) design, playing a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency and quality of MEP systems in buildings. Understanding and applying BIM technology in MEP design helps save time and costs, minimize error correction, and coordinate drawings and construction while maximizing accuracy and quality in design. Furthermore, BIM technology enables effective collaboration among project stakeholders, facilitating information sharing and better coordination.

Dr. Le Hung Tien stated “Van Lang University has been organizing numerous training programs related to electronic, computer, and related fields, aiming to build BIM technology for the entire Van Lang system. Therefore, we always strive to provide the best training value for students, thereby helping them approach modern technology models while still in school.”

At the workshop, Mr. Ho Quach Lin expressed, "Industry 4.0 technology continues to evolve, be a smart user by correctly assessing modern technologies as essential tools to support humans”. Students sequentially explored important categories of BIM MEP technology and the benefits that plugin products bring in the Revit MEP field.
