Workshop: "Data-Driven Economy: From Challenges to Solutions"

On November 19, 2024, the Autodesk Training Center (ATC) of Van Lang University organized a workshop titled "Data-Driven Economy: From Challenges to Solutions." The event attracted the attention and participation of the University’s faculty, staff, and students. Particularly, leading experts in Finance, Data Science, and Economics provided an overview of the role of data in solving economic problems, as well as tools for analyzing trends and business strategies.

Providing an in-depth analysis of data applications, Dr. Le Hung Tien, Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical - Electrical & Computer Engineering and Director of the ATC, pointed out that data is an important tool for simulating economic scenarios. It helps businesses understand the market and customer needs, optimize business strategies, and enhance competitiveness.

With the presentation titled "Practical Applications of Data Analytics," Dr. Pham Thi Ha An, Lecturer in the Department of Finance and Banking, affirmed the role of data analysis in personalizing customer experiences, optimizing products, and managing supply chains. She particularly emphasized methods of data collection, organization, and application in the context of growing demand for skilled professionals.

With discussions focusing on the application of data analytics along with foreign language and technology skills, students enthusiastically participated, raising many questions about the importance of integrating data science into economics.The workshop "Data-Driven Economy: From Challenges to Solutions" concluded successfully, providing practical value to students and contributing to the orientation of data application in developing the digital economy and improving business efficiency.
