Welcoming the delegation from the diplomatic academy of vietnam to exchange experiences on quality assurance and accreditation

On the afternoon of April 14, 2023, the Quality Assurance Department warmly welcomed the delegation from the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam for a visit and working session at Van Lang University.

Representatives of Van Lang University at the meeting were Dr. Nguyen Huu Cuong, Director of the Quality Assurance Department, Ms. Tran Ngoc Hanh, Deputy Director of the Quality Assurance Department, along with other specialists from the Department.
 

From the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, the delegation included Ms. Nguyen Thi Thin, Head of the Training Department; Mr. Vu Tuan Anh, Acting Deputy Head of the Training Department and Head of the Department of Communication and Foreign Culture; Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Huyen, Acting Head of the Examination and Quality Assurance Department; Ms. Hoang Mai Huong, Acting Head of the Training Department; and Ms. Tran Minh Nguyet, in charge of Quality Assurance, The English Department.
 

During the working session, Dr. Nguyen Huu Cuong presented an "Overview Report on the Internal Quality Assurance System and Improvement Results at Van Lang University" and discussed "Institutional and Program Accreditation in accordance with FIBAA Standards." Following the presentation, the participants from both institutions exchanged insights on internal quality assurance practices and considerations for implementing accreditation according to FIBAA standards.
 

After the discussion and exchange session, the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam Delegation toured the University library. Mr. Phan Van Khoa, Deputy Director of VLU Library, introduced the delegation to various departments, resources, and study spaces… within the library.

Mr. Phan Van Khoa (The Deputy Director of VLU library) led the Delegation on a tour of the library.
