From April 14 to May 31, 2025, Van Lang University officially opens registration for VLU Summer Camp 2025,  a summer learning experience designed for high school students. The program offers 20 experiential courses that can convert credits to university-level, covering diverse fields such as Physical Education, Soft Skills, Technology, Communication, Design, Art, and Economics. Through this, students can explore their passions and gain direction for their future learning path in a modern university environment.

VLU Summer Camp is a program organized by Van Lang University for 10th and 11th-grade high school students living and studying in Ho Chi Minh City and nearby provinces. First launched in 2023, VLU Summer Camp has made a great impression on the high school community. It is built upon a university credit conversion model, widely adopted in advanced education systems in Europe and America. Within just 1 to 2 months, high school students can take courses belonging to the University program and have the opportunity to transfer credits if they later learning at Van Lang University.

EXPERIENTIAL UNIVERSITY COURSES

As part of VLU Summer Camp 2025, students can choose from a range of engaging and practical modules that combine theory with hands-on learning, equipping them with essential life skills.

For tech enthusiasts, modules like Website Design, AI and Robotics, and Artificial Intelligence Applications provide hands-on opportunities to explore AI, interface programming, and robot control through practical lessons.

Those students who are passionate about art and performance can try Pencil Drawing, Color Drawing, Traditional Woodprint, or shine on stage through the Catwalk Performance module, where students learn expression, eye contact, and posture through guided movement.

In the area of communication and personal development, students can explore Personal Branding to understand self-image and identity, Learning English Through Projects to improve language skills via scripting or brochure design, or Basic Personal Finance Management to learn how to control spending and plan finances early.

A standout course, Bar and F&B Operations, offers students real-world experience in service, mixing, and hospitality operations in a simulated environment, helping build professionalism and confidence in the promising service industry.

UNIVERSITY CREDIT CONVERSION COURSES

For students who have already decided on their passion, university credit conversion courses provide an early opportunity to accumulate credits before officially entering Van Lang University. Students can choose from various modules in Physical Education, Soft Skills, and Environment, each subject aligned with Sustainable Development Goals. 

In Physical Education, students learn swimming, martial arts, or yoga while developing discipline, perseverance, and physical wellness,  essential traits for future academic challenges.

The Soft Skills help students to become dynamic global citizens, enhancing problem-solving, critical thinking, creativity, and entrepreneurship through courses such as Global Citizenship Skills, Design Thinking & Innovation, and Emotional Intelligence.

Especially noteworthy is the Environment & Humanity, which deepens students’ understanding of human-nature relationships and nurtures an eco-conscious mindset toward sustainable development, core values in modern society.

• Students are allowed to register for an unlimited number of courses. The final class schedules will be announced based on the number of registrants and course capacity.

REGISTRATION FEES

• Credit Conversion Courses: 500,000 VND per module
• Experiential Courses: 300,000 VND per module

Note: These fees are not tuition fees. They are used to confirm course enrollment and will be refunded upon course completion. Van Lang University offers free courses for students.
