To help students improve their ability to use technological devices for learning purposes, on February 28, 2025, Student Success Center at Van Lang University collaborated with CellphoneS and Apple to organize a seminar titled "Creating your vision board with Mac and iPad."
Tuan Ngoc, a TikToker with millions of views and a wealth of technology-focused content, introduced the concept of a vision board as a powerful visual tool that helps individuals turn their dreams into reality. A vision board consists of selected images, quotes, and affirmations that transform abstract and vague goals into clear and vivid visuals. When designed appropriately, a vision board can help Gen Z enhance focus, maintain motivation, self-inspire, nurture their subconscious, and become more confident and proactive.
During the seminar, Van Lang students were guided on methods to set goals, foster a positive mindset, and thoughtfully plan their career paths using Freeform - an innovative tool developed by Apple for creating effective vision boards. This application also supports note-taking and brainstorming, planning and project management, data collection and organization, and idea sharing and feedback. The intriguing topic was presented by Vu Duc Lam, an Apple expert from CellphoneS.
The speakers also emphasized the importance of developing the habit of detailed planning, regularly monitoring progress, and consistently evaluating and adjusting personal schedules throughout the self-improvement journey.
