On December 28, 2024, the final round of “Van Lang Students Tet” Red Envelope Design Contest officially unveiled the Top 10 creative works that captured the high standards of the expert jury in the field of Design. Organized by Samsung ViewFinity, this competition provided a playground for students from the Faculty of Arts & Design at Van Lang University.
The competition ran from November 15 to December 13, 2024, and received over 100 entries. Ultimately, the Top 3 winners were announced:

Nguyen Nhat Huy, winner of the grand prize, impressed the judges with his innovative fusion of Dong Ho folk painting with his three red envelope designs, "Joyful Tet at VLU, Dong Ho Painting Style." Huy’s design conveys wishes for good luck, prosperity, and academic success. His design will be used for VLU's official 2025 Lunar New Year red envelopes.
Students enthusiastically explored the submitted artworks and participated in other program activities
Lecturer Nguyen Minh Hai from VLU’s Faculty of Arts and Design shared, "Each design is not merely a decorative item, but a work of art with its own unique story. Our national cultural heritage provides endless inspiration for creating meaningful and original narratives."

The “Van Lang Students Tet” Red Envelope Design Contest concluded successfully with numerous creative submissions, demonstrating the talent and dedication of the students from the Faculty of Arts and Design, and the wider VLU student community.
