VLU Faculty of Pharmacy cooperated with Ha Noi CPC1 Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company

On June 30, 2023, the VLU Faculty of Pharmacy signed an MOU with Ha Noi CPC1 Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company (CPC1 HN., JSC), as well as organized a career orientation talkshow to share information about Pharmaceutical Sales Representatives to the Pharmacy students.

Dr. Nguyen Thi Hong Suong, Vice Dean of the Pharmacy Faculty, said that for many years, VLU Faculty of Pharmacy has been actively improving the curriculum to meet the high-quality workforce demands of society. "This MOU will provide students with opportunities to develop themselves, and enhance their knowledge and professional skills through field trips, business visits, and internships. Moreover, both parties can also cooperate more extensively on pharmacy-related topics such as production and developing new products that align with newly developed technologies and techniques in the field," shared Dr. Nguyen Thi Hong Huong.

Mr. Dinh Minh Tuan, Director of ETC, Ho Chi Minh City Branch of CPC1 HN., JSC, expressed his desire to cooperate with Van Lang University to provide the finest learning and development conditions for students in the field of Pharmacy, while equipping them with the necessary skills when entering the labor market in the medical field.

Under the MOU between the two parties, CPC1 HN., JSC will organize career orientation programs, supporting the Pharmacy students with the opportunity to do internships in a professional workplace. Simultaneously, the company will collaborate with staff, lecturers, and students of the VLU Faculty of Pharmacy in in-depth pharmaceutical research and sponsor academic programs for students, also offering scholarships to VLU students with good academic achievements.

At the meeting, the representatives of the VLU Faculty of Pharmacy and CPC1 HN., JSC presented an overview of the Pharmacy field in Vietnam, focusing on the demand for high-quality human resources. Additionally, the guests introduced to students the Pharmaceutical Sales Representative profession and discussed its development opportunities during the talk show "Four-leaf clover - The secret of success".

CPC1 HN., JSC inspired VLU students with a positive message: “Good fortune only comes to those who are determined to pursue it. It's never too late to create your own fortune and you can find it from seemingly unfortunate situations", while discussing overcoming life and work challenges, particularly in the role of a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative, which needs patience and effective information management. During the program, students had the opportunity to role-play as Pharmaceutical Sales Representative, learning to introduce and share updates about pharmaceuticals and medical technologies.
