VLU alumni selected for Reserve Officer Training at Military Region 7

On the morning of September 4, 2025, Van Lang University (VLU) held a meeting with 10 alumni who had been admitted to the Reserve Officer Training program at Military Region 7. This marks an important milestone in their journey of learning and self-discipline and also reflects the responsibility and commitment of the VLU community to the cause of national building and protection.

Starting from September 5, 2025, the 10 alumni will undergo four months of training at the Military School of Military Region 7. This is a valuable opportunity to strengthen their courage and discipline, while also enhancing soft skills and broadening future career prospects.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi My Dieu, President of Van Lang University, personally met and encouraged the alumni: “The road ahead will certainly present many challenges, requiring bravery, determination, and perseverance. Yet, it is precisely in times of hardship that you will learn to overcome your own limits, becoming stronger and fully prepared to face the future. I believe that after four months of training, each participant will return with invaluable experiences, opening new opportunities and making meaningful contributions to society.”

Dr. Nguyen Cuu Dinh, Head of the Department of Academic Affair and Head of the Department of Defence and Security Education, emphasized: “The admission of these 10 alumni is the result of their academic effort, self-cultivation, and strong sense of responsibility toward the nation. The upcoming training will be a major challenge, but also a valuable opportunity for personal growth”.
