On the afternoon of June 5, 2025, Van Lang University warmly welcomed a delegation of teachers and students from CHIJ St. Nicholas Girls’ School (Singapore) for a cultural and educational exchange visit. Organized by the Department of Partnership and Engagement, the program aimed to foster academic and cultural connections between Van Lang University students and Singaporean high school students. It also offered international students the chance to explore Vietnamese culture and people while experiencing Van Lang University's dynamic, multidisciplinary learning environment.

The tour began with a visit to Van Lang University’s Museum - Traditional Room, a place that showcases key milestones in the university’s development journey. The exhibit offered the visiting students insights into Van Lang University’s spirit of innovation, creativity, and global integration.

Next, the students were divided into small groups, each guided by 1 - 2 students from the Chinese Language major, to experience making tò he, a traditional Vietnamese handicraft of making toy figurines. The activity not only introduced international guests to Vietnamese traditional arts but also gave Van Lang University students, especially those majoring in Chinese Language, the opportunity to practice their language skills in a real-world setting.
As part of the exchange, the Faculty of Commerce hosted a symposium session titled “E-commerce in Singapore & Vietnam”. The presentation provided an insightful comparison of the e-commerce landscape in both countries, highlighting key trends, opportunities, and challenges. The session served as a valuable source of information and career inspiration for students, broadening their understanding of digital marketing and e-commerce development in a global context.

This visit not only provided a rich cultural learning experience but also expanded international networking opportunities for students from both nations. It is part of Van Lang University’s ongoing efforts to promote internationalization in education and to cultivate a dynamic, inclusive, and globally connected learning environment.
