On October 15, 2024, Van Lang University had the honor of hosting representatives from UCSI University (Malaysia) to discuss collaboration on the Master’s degree programs offered by the Faculty of Creative Technology and the Faculty of Tourism.
During the visit, the two universities shared insights about their respective histories, development journeys, goals, and notable achievements in their commitment to education. Recognizing significant similarities in their missions, both universities expressed intentions to collaborate on research, student exchange programs, workshops, and competitions aimed at enhancing global skills and understanding for students, particularly those in Honors Programs, as well as for Van Lang University students as a whole.
Mr. Roland Chan Chih Chien, Director of the Office of Global Engagement at UCSI University, expressed his enthusiasm for the opportunity to collaborate with Van Lang University. He highlighted VLU’s strengths in facilities that foster student development, equipping them to become high-quality human resources contributing to societal growth. Additionally, the university’s heritage, along with its historical and cultural values, left a strong and positive impression on the visiting UCSI delegation from Malaysia.
It is hoped that in the near future, the two universities will work together to enhance the quality of education, enabling students to develop holistically and engage with the international academic environment.
