Van Lang University Welcomes Jeollanam-do Provincial Department of Education (South Korea)

On the morning of October 21, 2024, the Faculty of Korean Language and Culture at Van Lang University warmly welcomed a delegation from the Jeollanam-do Provincial Department of Education, South Korea. This visit aimed to enhance educational cooperation and explore opportunities for collaboration in Korean language training for the faculty’s lecturers and students.

The delegation of Jeollanam-do Provincial Department of Education was introduced to Van Lang University’s modern facilities and high-quality academic programs. In the spirit of mutual respect and a shared desire to learn about each other’s language, culture, and history, both parties engaged in discussions regarding future collaborative initiatives. These include student exchanges, faculty training programs, and cultural exchange activities.

Building on the longstanding friendship between Vietnam and South Korea, Van Lang University and the Jeollanam-do Provincial Department of Education have established various cooperative agreements over the years. These agreements have enabled many Vietnam-Korea cultural exchange programs, internships, and student exchange opportunities. Through these collaborative efforts, Van Lang University hopes to provide students with an international learning environment, which encourages them to enhance their language skills, knowledge, and experience through global interactions and partnerships.

The meeting was a positive step forward in deepening educational cooperation between the two institutions. It also served as a valuable opportunity to further strengthen their partnership, opening new prospects in international integration for Van Lang students in particular and students from both countries in general.
