On September 19, 2023, Van Lang University welcomed a team of experts from Germany to conduct the external assessment for institutional accreditation according to the FIBAA standards (Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation).
On the journey to position itself as one of the most admired young universities in Asia, the University continuously enhances the quality of teaching, invests in infrastructure, and ensures international accreditation to improve educational programs to be closer to global standards. Implementing accreditation according to FIBAA international standards has been in the development plan of Van Lang University for many years.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ms. Adriane Janosch, Project Manager at FIBAA, introduced the organization and the expectations for Van Lang University in this accreditation process: FIBAA (Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation) is a reputable external quality assurance organization in Europe. The organization was established with the goal of promoting the quality and transparency of higher education institutions and programs globally. She hoped Van Lang University would have a successful accreditation period, surpassing the strict requirements on standard conditions to affirm and enhance the value of the University in academics and international education training.
From September 19 to September 21, 2023, Van Lang University entered the phase of external evaluation of educational institutions according to FIBAA standards. During the 3-day working period at the University, the expert team will conduct working sessions and comprehensively evaluate all aspects of the University's activities to serve the accreditation process.
Wishing the expert panel a smooth work in Van Lang. We hope that Van Lang University will complete the process of institutional accreditation to reflect the University’s strengths, and receive valuable recommendations from FIBAA experts to continue the journey of fulfilling its educational mission.
