On Christmas Eve, December 25, 2023, the Union Executive Committee and students hurriedly welcomed the night truck transporting more than 6 tons of oranges to Van Lang University.

Currently, king mandarin farmers in Vinh Long province are facing obstacles since they are obliged to sell at extremely low rates. Van Lang University's Union promptly scheduled the community program "Join hands to consume king mandarin - Support Vinh Long Farmers" with the aim of supporting and fostering the spirit of "mutual love." The Trade Union enlisted a huge number of officers, lecturers, and school personnel to retrieve 6.3 tons of oranges after three days of campaigning (December 20–23, 2023).

Each staff member who ordered oranges received a 5kg - 10kg voucher from the Union's Executive Committee.
