Exciting Experiences of VLU Students at the ASEAN Student Mobility Forum 2025

Over two weeks of engagement, VLU students actively participated in both online and in-person activities in Malaysia through the "Young Speakers Talent Competition" and the "Future Innovators Challenge." These competitions challenged participants to address regional issues while promoting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Beyond the competitions, the program encouraged students to connect with international peers, strengthen teamwork skills, and foster closer ties between students and universities across Southeast Asia.

At the forum's closing ceremony, YB Datuk Ts. Mustapha Sakmud, Deputy Minister of Higher Education of Malaysia, emphasized the vital role of universities in developing the higher education ecosystem in Southeast Asia. He also highlighted the importance of promoting student exchange programs, collaborative research, and strengthening university-industry partnerships to drive sustainable growth and innovation in the region.
