The team consisted of Le Minh Hieu (Hi-tech Agriculture), Nguyen Vu Huong Giang (Environmental Engineering Technology), and Du Tuan Lam (Business Administration), under the academic supervision of Dr. Vu Thi Quyen. During the debate session of the final round, the team selected the topic “Is AI the most important tool in environmental protection?”, focusing on an analysis of the role of artificial intelligence in supporting environmental monitoring and management, while also addressing the limitations of technology and the responsibility of humans in its application.

According to the judging panel, the team’s project was highly regarded for its tangible outcomes, strong practical relevance, feasibility of implementation, and potential for further development. The project’s content and approach also demonstrated proactiveness, a strong sense of action, and the responsibility of the younger generation in responding to today’s pressing environmental challenges.
The competition was organized by Ho Chi Minh City University of Education and attracted more than 100 teams from high schools, colleges, universities, and youth organizations across Ho Chi Minh City. Through successive rounds, the organizing committee selected 30 outstanding individuals or teams for the semifinals, and subsequently shortlisted 24 teams for the final round.
The competition followed a structured process, from idea submission and project evaluation to live public speaking sessions. Participants presented environmental ideas or innovative products, took part in online video-based voting, and advanced to the final round featuring presentations combined with debate and rebuttal.
Addressing themes such as environmental pollution, climate change, and eco-friendly lifestyles, the competition aimed to raise awareness and encourage students to propose environmental protection solutions through public speaking.
