Van Lang University students went all out at Kien Xay 2023 - Khoi

On December 16, 2023, Kien Xay 2023 - the brainchild of the students from the Faculty of Architecture & Faculty of Civil Engineering, officially made a return with the theme 'Khoi'. This also marks the 20th anniversary of Kien Xay - a journey of passing on the flame of enthusiasm to future generations, fostering a strong connection and unity among different student courses.

Looking back at Kien Xay’s 20 years of journey, with many unforgettable shows: Xin Chao (2009), Than (2010), Ho Xu Xang Xe Cong (2011), Khac (2012), Moi (2017), Khat (2018), Noi (2019), Troi (2022), each season of Kien Xay that passed left unique feelings within VLU students community. In 2023, Kien Xay returned with a meaning of remembrance and gratitude.

“Khoi 2023” is a journey with 3 phases “Khoi - Trinh - Khoi”, with each phase symbolizing a cycle of development and maturity for VLU students. “Khoi” is a beginning of new possibilities, an opening to a colorful ride created by each individual that paints the picture of life” is a meaningful message from Kien Xay’s - Khoi 2023 organizers.

At the beginning of Kien Xay 2023 “Khoi”, students got to participate in “Ruoc than” activities (Welcoming the god - the soul of Kien Xay, the one who supports, helps creating each successful season of Kien Xay ), “Truyen lua” and ”Le rua toi”

One of the emotional highlights is the performance which describes VLU Kien Xay Festival’s growing journey, which faced challenges and obstacles that seemingly halted its progress. But with major efforts from the students, Kien Xay has come back, with more energy and more power.

The students gave their all in the musical night with the spirit of Kien Xay, starring 06 rock bands:  02 student bands, Giay Gap, Raditori, Nhao and Thi Cong. When the crisp sounds of electric guitars, drums and basses reverberated, all students merged into one, singing along to the dynamic and explosive performances.

Within the final month of 2023, aside from Kien Xay, there are many Faculty‘s signature programs worth looking forward to: Hoa Sac - Ky Quang, Neon - Hoai Yen, TITAN - Moc Huyen, Ve dep tiem an - Sen, THE CHRONICLE VII, adding brilliance to the season of light at Van Lang University.
