Van Lang University students explore startup opportunities in the AI era

On December 3, 2024, Van Lang Incubation Center, in collaboration with Nova Education Technology Joint Stock Company (NovaEdu), organized a talk show titled "Gen Z startups in the AI era." This event provided young people with the opportunity to learn from and interact with industry experts.

Ms. Ngo Cao Hoai Linh - Director of Student Success Center (SSC) expressed her excitement at the establishment of Van Lang Incubation Center, founded in 2022, with the goal of supporting over 100 startup ideas annually. The center not only provides workspace but also organizes workshops, skill training programs, and connects students with investors.

Ms. Ngo Cao Hoai Linh emphasized: "Innovative thinking and startups are two very important factors in today's era. Besides, the startup field needs to be accompanied by the remarkable development of science and technology." The talk show "Gen Z startups in the AI era" helps students have access to and stay updated with current trends.

With rich experience in managing and developing many successful businesses, Mr. Doan Viet Dung - CEO of Hesman Group stated: "Startup is not just about founding a company or starting a business. Nowadays, you can participate in many projects and activities of enterprises; from there, businesses will share stock, and you have become an entrepreneur. The most important thing is the passionate and determined spirit when you decide to start up."

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Duy Luan - Data Engineer, Co-founder of Elton Data highlighted the strengths of Gen Z, highly appreciating the flexibility of young people in their work process, as they are not afraid to experience new challenges. He affirmed: "The learning opportunities for young people in the AI field are significant because they have the chance to engage with the strong development phase of technology. You need to seek opportunities to participate in real-world models and enhance your practical skills."
 

Through the talk show, Van Lang University students gained new knowledge about startups, such as zero-cost startups and lean startups. The insights and experiences shared by the experts will be valuable assets for Gen Z students on their startup journeys and help them achieve significant accomplishments.
