Van Lang University Students Actively Participate in Voluntary Blood Donation Community Event

The Voluntary Blood Donation program has been a familiar social activity for Van Lang University students for many years. On October 24, 2024, the VLU community came together to donate their precious blood, giving the gift of life to patients in need.

Voluntary blood donation is a regularly organized activity throughout the academic year and always receives enthusiastic support from a large number of lecturers and students. Students actively participate and respond with the desire to contribute to social activities, demonstrating a spirit of sharing and helping to spread positive values to the community.

”At the blood donation event, faculty members, staff, and students followed all procedures according to the established protocol. The Social Work Team provided thorough guidance and managed the orderly movement between areas (registration, storage, examination, refreshments, donation, care, and gift reception). Nguyen Thi Kim Ngoc, a Class 29 student majoring in Multimedia Communications, shared: "This is my second time registering for voluntary blood donation because I recognize the noble significance of donating blood to save lives. Additionally, organizing the blood donation event at the university makes it convenient for students to participate easily. I hope this activity will expand so that more patients can be saved."

"One drop of blood given - One life saved," thank you to the compassionate hearts from the VLU community. With the positive meanings and values of voluntary blood donation, the university hopes that students will continue to develop a spirit of volunteerism, using their youth to help for the benefit of the community.
