Van Lang University signed MOU with Cyber Hankuk University of Foreign Studies.

On August 29, 2023, the MOU signing ceremony between the Faculty of Korean Language and Culture at Van Lang University and Cyber Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, opened up numerous opportunities for Van Lang students to exchange, learn, and experience at the partner university.

The signing ceremony was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi My Dieu - President of Van Lang University, MSc. Le Thi Minh Tam, Head of the International Relations Office, Dr. Nguyen Thi Hien, Dean of the Faculty of Korean Language and Culture, along with representatives from the partner institution: Prof. Jang Ji-ho, the President of Cyber Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, Prof. Jin Jeong-ran, Head of the International Education Department, and Prof. Kang Ha-na, Head of the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and Indonesian Studies.

Based on the memorandum of understanding (MOU) between the two institutions, Van Lang University and Cyber Hankuk University will collaborate to develop programs that enable students from both universities to exchange, study, and interact at the partner university. In addition, the two institutions will create programs for the community, spreading cultural values between the two nations and contributing positively to society.

During the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi My Dieu - President of Van Lang University, shared: “Cyber University of Foreign Languages in Korea is the first university with a distance learning model that Van Lang University has cooperated with, so the program will provide a unique experience for students when they participate.”

Prof. Jang Ji-ho, the President of Cyber Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, shared: "The MOU signing ceremony is a significant event for Cyber University of Foreign Languages in Korea. Through collaboration, the two institutions can build international exchange programs, and contribute to the strong cooperation relationship between Vietnam and Korea."

Cyber Hankuk University of Foreign Studies is the only distance-learning university in Korea specializing in foreign languages. It stands as a pioneering model for integrated education, founded on Korea's excellent professors and advanced IT technology applied in the education environment.
