Van Lang University Signed a Research and Technology Transfer Agreement with Canadian Biotechnology Company

On the morning of September 8, 2025, Van Lang University signed a Research and Technology Transfer Agreement with SK8 Biotechnologies Inc. (Canada), a leading enterprise in applied biotechnology for aquaculture and veterinary sciences. 

The signing ceremony was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi My Dieu, President of Van Lang University; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thi Kim Oanh, Head of the Department of Research Development; Dr. Nguyen Huu Hung, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Technology; Dr. Le Thanh Dien, Project Director, along with leaders of various specialized units. Representing SK8 Biotechnologies were Mr. Kenneth K. Tan, Chairman, and Mr. Adam Ngui, Director of Business Development.

The agreement marks a significant milestone in Van Lang University’s international cooperation strategy for biotechnology, creating opportunities to strengthen research and technology transfer capacity, especially in areas aligned with sustainable development goals. Both sides also discussed plans for joint projects aimed at developing highly applicable products that bridge scientific research with the practical needs of industry.
