To expand international partnerships and enhance the quality of education, on November 26th 2024, Van Lang University welcomed the Director of Hits-Vina Co., Ltd. for a visit and collaborative discussion. During the meeting, the two parties officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), exchanging future development orientations.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi My Dieu, President of Van Lang University, stated: “With the goal of enhancing cultural and artistic values while cultivating students’ abilities, our university has actively collaborated with numerous Korean partners. The signing of the MOU between Van Lang University and Hits-Vina Co., Ltd. serves as a bridge, opening up growth opportunities for students in Finance and Banking major and Korean Language major. In particular, both parties need to focus on addressing problems related to language and specialized knowledge of insurance and damage assessment for students.”
At the ceremony, Mr. Sohn Sang Soon, Director of Hits-Vina Co., Ltd., expressed his desire to identify and support the training of potential students in the field of insurance. He shared that Hits-Vina is currently developing an internal training program aimed at enhancing students’ specialized knowledge, competitiveness and ability to meet the demands of the labor market.
Under the agreement, Hits-Vina Co., Ltd. will provide opportunities for students to learn and intern at its branches both domestically and internationally. Additionally, students who meet the company’s criteria will be given recruitment priority. Building on the strong partnership between the two parties and aligning with international-standard training programs, Van Lang University and Hits-Vina Co., Ltd. aim to cultivate a high-quality workforce, ready to integrate and thrive as global citizens.
