The camp gathered over 55 students from seven countries and territories: China, Taiwan, India, Laos, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Thailand. Throughout the nine-day program, Minh Hieu and Duc Huy enhanced their English proficiency, global skills, and cultural understanding through a diverse array of activities such as fruit carving, silver ring design, traditional painting, and visits to temples, museums, and the ancient capital city of Ayutthaya. A key highlight of the program was the national cultural showcase activity.

Driven by national pride and a desire to present a multifaceted Vietnam rich in regional customs and cuisine, two students chose to tell the story of their homeland through the distinctive color palettes of the North, Central, and South regions, under the theme “Let’s Explore VIETNAM with Us!” The North was portrayed through nostalgic warm tones; the Central region was expressed with elegant pastel shades; while the South was illustrated with a dynamic mix of warm and cool tones, representing the contrast between day and night, modernity and tradition. They also incorporated the image of the Lac bird that is an iconic symbol in Vietnamese culture and in Van Lang University’s logo to not only introduce the country but also to convey the university’s message of “spreading inspirational impact” to international friends. Through this initiative, the students demonstrated creativity, enthusiasm, openness to learning, and the image of friendly, confident, and globally engaged Vietnamese youth.
