Van Lang University’s staff and faculty members enthusiastically participate in the Labor Union Sports Games celebrating the University’s 30th anniversary
In celebration of the 30th anniversary of Van Lang University (1995 – 2025) and the 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (1982 – 2025), the University Labor Union organized the traditional Sports Games to promote physical training, develop core athletic teams, and create opportunities for exchange and connection among union members. The event attracted a large number of staff and faculty members competing in three sports: badminton, pickleball, and futsal.
Speaking at the Opening Ceremony, Ms. Tran Thi Thu Thuy, Chairwoman of the Labor Union of Van Lang University, emphasized the spirit of unity among staff and faculty members. She also expressed her hope that the Sports Games would foster a joyful and healthy sporting environment, encouraging collaboration and strengthening team spirit among participating units.
From November 5 to November 16, 2025, participating teams gathered in full force, ready to compete in the three sports — badminton, pickleball, and futsal. The enthusiastic participation of the units, departments, and centers across the institution once again demonstrated the strong spirit of engagement among union members in Van Lang University’s annual sports activities.
In the Badminton category, this year’s sports tournament brought audiences a series of exciting, high-energy, and visually captivating matches, all brimming with true sportsmanship. As one of the three competition events held as part of the Van Lang University Labor Union Sports Games 2025, Badminton gathered a large number of athletes competing in three categories: Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles, and Mixed Doubles. After intense performances accompanied by enthusiastic cheers from the crowd, congratulations to the faculty and staff members who delivered outstanding results:

On the evening of November 11, 2025, in the vibrant atmosphere leading up to the 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day, the Labor Union of Van Lang University organized the pickleball competition, attracting a large number of staff and lecturers. The matches unfolded in an exciting, dynamic, and highly competitive spirit, showcasing the cohesion and energy of the faculty of Van Lang University. After many impressive rallies and well-coordinated plays, the final results were as follows:

The futsal final took place on November 16, 2025, bringing together teams that had successfully advanced through the qualifying rounds of the University Labor Union’s sports activities. The match unfolded with notable concentration, discipline, and strict adherence to regulations from all athletes. At the end of the official playing time, the Organizing Committee presented the award categories and acknowledged the responsible participation of all teams throughout this year’s season.

The Labor Union Sports Games is one of the annual activities aiming to promote physical well-being, strengthen interaction among union members, and foster a spirit of unity across Van Lang University.
