To enhance learning opportunities through real-world experiences and support the Marketing Management Project course, the Faculty of Commerce at Van Lang University organized a field trip to the Heineken Brewery at Phu My Industrial Park, Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province, on March 18-19 and 21, 2025.
During this practical learning session, 350 students from the Faculty of Commerce explored the brewery’s rich history, the secrets behind its premium beer quality, and its internationally standardized production process. They gained insights into every stage, from ingredient selection, brewing, and fermentation to packaging and quality control before the products reach the market. Additionally, the students had the opportunity to learn about the operations of a multinational corporation, visit different sections of the brewery, and witness its state-of-the-art production lines in action.
The visit also allowed students to sample various Heineken beer varieties and engage directly with company employees, gaining industry insights and networking opportunities. Nguyen Hoang Phuong Nhi, a Marketing student from Class 28, shared her excitement: “This was my first time visiting such a large-scale factory. The trip helped us understand our field of study better and motivated us to work hard so we can join top-tier companies like Heineken in the future”.
