Van Lang University organizes a workshop titled "Perfecting Vietnam Law in the Integration Period."

In May 2024, Van Lang University - Faculty of Law will hold a workshop with the theme “Perfecting Vietnam Law the Integration Period”, providing a forum for young lecturers, research scholars, postgraduates, and students in the field of Law and Economics Law, along with related fields, to engage in research, exchange knowledge, and share experiences during their academic and professional processes.

Nowadays, globalization and international integration have become an inevitable trend. Throughout this process, each nation pursues its own goals, aligned with the core interests of the country. This process creates significant opportunities for development while also presenting new challenges and demands, contingent upon the specific conditions and circumstances of each nation.

For Vietnam, one of the significant demands in the current context is to construct and refine the legal system to effectively engage in the international arena, aligning with international legal frameworks, while also assimilating the essence of advanced legal systems worldwide. Simultaneously, it's crucial to preserve and develop the proven values of Vietnam's legal system after decades of operation. Achieving this vital objective requires efforts from the entire political system and society. Intellectual forces, particularly young intellectuals studying, researching, and working in universities nationwide, need to play a pivotal and pioneering role in this endeavor.

To harness the potential of young intellectuals, the Faculty of Law at Van Lang University organizes a scientific workshop with the theme "Perfecting Vietnam Law in the Integration Period."

Purpose:

• Create a forum for young lecturers, research fellows, postgraduates, and students majoring in Law and related fields, as well as experts and managers, to engage in research, paper writing, skill enhancement, and research result dissemination.
• Provide opportunities for lecturers, research fellows, postgraduates, and students majoring in Law and related fields, as well as experts and managers, to network, connect, learn, and exchange experiences in legal research.
• Contribute to improving the quality of law research publication, enhancing the quality of law teaching and learning, and contributing to the goal of enhancing Vietnam Law.

• Time: from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM on May 25, 2024
• Venue: Hall N2T1, Main Campus, Van Lang University (69/68 Dang Thuy Tram Street, Ward 13, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City)

• The leadership team of Van Lang University;
• Representatives from the Department of Scientific Research Development;
• Organizing Committee members;
• Faculty members from the Faculty of Law and other majors;
• Research fellows, postgraduates, students from law-related fields, economics law, and other fields, as well as interested experts and managers from both within and outside the University;
• Authors contributing articles to the workshop.
