Van Lang University in the jubilant atmosphere of the 2023 Francophone Admissions Counseling Day in Ho Chi Minh City

On December 2, 2023, more than 300 VLU students participated in the 2023 Francophone Admissions Counseling Day in Ho Chi Minh City, marking the 50th anniversary of Vietnam-France diplomatic relations. This serves as an activity to offer advice and answer high school students' questions about international programs with Universities in France. 

Together with Dr. Trinh Thi Thuy, Deputy Head of the Restaurant Department, and MSc. Do Tuyet Bang Tam, Lecturer of the Faculty of Tourism, the admission consulting team introduced to the students the French-Vietnamese Dual Degree program of Hotel Management and Travel & Tourism Service Management. This is a a longstanding international program between  Van Lang University and Perpignan via Domitia University (France), on the basis of recognition of equivalent training programs between the two parties.

For students interested in French, by enrolling in these two programs,  they will complete 7 semesters at the Faculty of Tourism (VLU) and the final semester at Perpignan University (France). Graduates meeting the requirements will receive two degrees: a Bachelor's Degree from Van Lang University; and an internationally recognized Bachelor's degree  from the University of Perpignan. This provides an advantage for students wishing to pursue a Master's program in France and other European countries.
