On the morning of November 27, 2025, the 12th International Conference on Future Data and Security Engineering (FDSE) and the 19th International Conference on Advanced Computing and Analytics (ACOMPA) officially opened at Van Lang University. These prestigious annual scientific conferences bring together researchers from around the world working in data engineering, future security, analytics, and algorithmic research. This year’s event also marked a significant opportunity for Van Lang University to strengthen our international academic presence and connections.
FDSE & ACOMPA 2025 take place from November 27 to 29, 2025, featuring 66 research papers and two proceedings contributed by scholars from 14 countries. All submissions were selected through a rigorous peer-review process conducted by six international experts, ensuring high academic standards, reliability, and scientific quality.
In his opening remarks, Professor Josef Küng, Co-Chair of the FDSE 2025 Program Committee and Conference Chair of ACOMPA 2025, shared insights into the roughly year-long preparation for the conferences, from the call for papers and peer-review process to the final selection of outstanding works. He expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the researchers, the International Program Committee and Van Lang University as the host institution, for creating a professional academic environment where knowledge is exchanged openly and rigorously.

Representing the University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi My Dieu, President of Van Lang University, emphasized the academic prestige of FDSE and ACOMPA, as evidenced by the indexing of the proceedings in Scopus and SCI. She highlighted that hosting these international conferences not only demonstrates Van Lang University’s strong commitment to the global academic community but also reflects our responsibility to contribute valuable knowledge to society, enhance digital capacity, and promote sustainable development.
During the opening session, two seminars were delivered, offering important perspectives on the role of data and technology in healthcare. Both studies emphasised the critical role of digital technologies in data management and their effective application in supporting sustainable development and serving public health interests.

With the participation of leading experts and research topics closely aligned with global trends in data science, information security, and advanced computing, FDSE & ACOMPA 2025 continue to affirm their position as high-quality international academic forums. Beyond knowledge exchange, the conferences provide valuable opportunities to expand research collaboration, explore interdisciplinary solutions, and promote new contributions to the global scientific community.
