Van Lang University Expands Global Learning Opportunities for Students at EAIE 2025

During the EAIE International Education Conference 2025, held from September 9–12 in Gothenburg, Sweden, Van Lang University proudly marked an impressive start to our global engagement journey by meeting with over 120 partners from 42 countries. These connections pave the way for strategic collaborations with leading universities worldwide and open up abundant opportunities for VLU students to participate in international exchange programs.

The EAIE (European Association for International Education) is a prestigious international organization headquartered in the Netherlands, dedicated to advancing the internationalization of higher education worldwide. EAIE 2025 brought together more than 7,300 experts, university leaders, and international organizations from over 110 countries, featuring over 200 exhibition booths.

This is one of Europe’s most prestigious forums on higher education, where leading universities and institutions worldwide gather for parallel sessions, thematic discussions, and academic exhibitions. For Van Lang University, the event provided a valuable opportunity to showcase our academic programs, directly connect with partners, and expand strategic collaborations on a global scale.

EXPANDING THE GLOBAL PARTNERSHIP NETWORK 

Van Lang University is proud to be the sole representative of Vietnam participating in the exhibition at the EAIE Conference & Exhibition 2025. Participating in this exhibition is not only an opportunity to showcase the University’s academic programs and brand image, but also a milestone affirming Van Lang University’s strategy of internationalization and expanding global partnerships. Van Lang University was also present with an official exhibition booth while also actively participating in parallel sessions and thematic discussions. The VLU delegation showcases academic programs, shares scholarly insights, promotes the University’s image, and builds connections with representatives from universities and international organizations worldwide.

Van Lang University at the EAIE 2025.

At EAIE 2025, Van Lang University was honored to connect with many prestigious universities worldwide, including University of Oxford, UC Berkeley, McGill University, University of British Columbia, The University of Queensland, Washington University in St. Louis, Penn State, Queen’s University Belfast, Maastricht University, Strathclyde, University of Tartu, Abu Dhabi University, University of Florence, Bilkent University, Czech Technical University in Prague, University of Mannheim, and many more. Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) were signed, with more agreements underway, focusing on joint research, articulation programs, and faculty - student exchanges.

The VLU delegation engaged and collaborated with many prestigious universities worldwide

Along with the community of over 3,000 domestic students, through an open international experience environment, in the past five years, nearly 3,000 students from 30 countries have come to study at Van Lang University (VLU), while nearly 700 VLU students have studied at universities around the world. More than 400 international partners from four continents have collaborated with VLU, including prestigious strategic partners among the top universities in Asia and the world. The increasing scale and quality of cooperation affirm Van Lang University's position as a dynamic, reliable Vietnamese university ready to co-create with the international academic community.

In recent years, Van Lang University has continuously strived to become an internationally recognized university for quality, focusing on deep training and scientific research, enhancing our reputation within the academic community. In 2025, Van Lang University entered the QS World University Rankings for the first time, ranking in the top 1001-1200, reflecting years of efforts to build brand reputation, accumulate research achievements, and maintain a commitment to academic quality.
