Van Lang University completed an official survey to assess outside university training programs in English Language, Accounting, and Hotel Management

On the afternoon of September 8, 2020, the closing ceremony of the official survey to assess outside university training program in English Language, Accounting, Hotel management took place at Campus 3 of Van Lang University.

The official survey to serve the evaluation of three university-level training programs in English Language, Accounting, and Hotel Management at Van Lang University was conducted by a delegation of external auditors from the Center for Education Quality Accreditation (Association of Universities and Colleges of Vietnam) implemented from September 3 to 8, 2020. During 6 working days at Van Lang University, the External Evaluation Team carried out many activities including: studying the evidence files of the majors of English Language, Accounting, Hotel Management; collect feedback and interview 295 stakeholders of 3 training disciplines: alumni, students, union and youth support staff, lecturers, employers; University leaders, Council self-assessment of 3 training programs; visit the facilities such as library; dormitory; medical facilities, practice facilities and other facilities of the University.

• Dr. Nguyen Minh Khoi - Deputy Chief of the Office of the Education Accreditation Center, Administrative Officer of the External Evaluation Team.

At the closing ceremony, on behalf of the Evaluation Team, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Ha – Head of the External Evaluation Team reported in detail and evaluated the official survey at Van Lang University, pointed out strengths and made recommendations for stakeholders to have solutions and continue to improve to better serve the training of Accounting, English Language, and Hotel Management.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi My Dieu - Member of the School Council, Rector of Van Lang University thanked the External Evaluation Team for accrediting training programs in Accounting, English Language, and Hospitality Management.

Also within the framework of the closing ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Phuong Nga - Director of the Center for Education Accreditation (Vietnam Association of Universities and Colleges), Supervision Advisor of the External Evaluation Delegation, thanked Van Lang University and at the same time hoped that from the results of the evaluation and the recommendations that have been proposed by the Evaluation Team, Van Lang University will continue to improve the quality of training, affirm the position and brand name of Van Lang University.

In addition to the closing speech, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Phuong Nga, Director of the Center for Education Accreditation, Supervision Advisor of the Evaluation Delegation shared the evaluation on the training program at Van Lang University

At the end of the Closing Ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Phuong Nga; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi My Dieu signed the Minutes of completing the official survey.

Representatives of Van Lang University and the External Evaluation Team of the Education Accreditation Center (Association of Universities and Colleges of Vietnam) signed the minutes of completing the external assessment for quality accreditation

The official survey activity of the External Evaluation Team is an important basis for determining the quality assessment results for 3 training programs in English Language, Accounting, and Hospitality Management of Van Lang University. This is also the basis for the three training disciplines to continue to improve and enhance the quality of training.
