A meaningful and energetic international sports exchange just took place at Van Lang University! On May 20, 2025, the Honors Program teamed up with UTS South American International School and Westwood Secondary School (Singapore) to organize a two-day “Sports Training and Exchange Program.”

In her opening remarks, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Lan - President of UTS South American International School - highlighted: “This is a meaningful opportunity for students from both institutions to connect, establish friendships, and explore the distinct cultures of Vietnam and Singapore. Sports transcend mere competition - they embody teamwork, cooperation, the exchange of experiences, and the formation of enduring international relationships.”

The two-day event featured friendly matches in basketball and badminton. While competition was not the central objective, the activities generated positive energy, nurtured a spirit of fair play, and created lasting impressions among students.

Founded in 2018, UTS South American International School operates under the Van Lang Education Group. The school provides a bilingual integrated curriculum from kindergarten to Grade 12, combining the Common Core State Standards (USA) and the Oxford International Curriculum (OIC), striving to cultivate global citizenship and academic excellence.
