On the morning of May 9, 2025, at room J5.03, the International Student Support Center of Van Lang University in collaboration with Singapore Management University (SMU) organized a meaningful workshop. The event provided an opportunity for Vietnamese and Singaporean students to gain deeper insights into the Vietnamese market while enhancing connections, sharing, and exploring the cultural diversity between the two countries.
Mr. Dang Hung Cuong, Southern Automobile Business Director of VinFast Vietnam, delivered the topic “VinFast: The Origins of Excellence,” sharing the development journey of VinFast and key strategies that have propelled the brand into the international market. He emphasized the importance of innovation, systematic brand building, and the aspiration for global integration.
From the perspective of an international investor, Mr. Vlad Savin, Partner at Acclime Vietnam, delivered the topic “Successful Market Entry in Vietnam,” sharing critical factors that help foreign enterprises effectively enter the Vietnamese market. He analyzed challenges, appropriate ownership structures, and long-term operational strategies.
In addition to professional topics, the event also organized exchange activities between Van Lang University students and Singapore Management University students to strengthen academic exchange and cultural connections. This activity aligns with the orientation to enhance international cooperation between Van Lang University and Singapore Management University, contributing to the development of training programs, academic exchanges, and joint research in the future.
