Van Lang University and SCTV Sign Cooperation Agreement, Unlocking New Development Opportunities for Students

On the morning of October 25, 2024, Van Lang University and Saigontourist Cable Television (SCTV) held a signing ceremony for their cooperation agreement, focusing on key objectives aimed at enhancing the quality of education and promoting the brand's communication efforts.

With this memorandum of understanding, the two parties set the goal of closely collaborating in student training that is aligned with practical experience, enhancing the quality of workforce for the labor market. At the same time, content sharing and brand communication activities will be widely implemented, helping to build the image of both Van Lang University and SCTV within the community. Notably, the two parties will also work together on social responsibility programs, contributing to a community of sustainable development.

Dr. Vo Van Tuan, Party Secretary, Vice Rector, and Dean of the Faculty of Public Relations and Communications, spoke at the signing ceremony: “In the past, we have cooperated, but this time marks a more significant milestone, a major step forward. Van Lang University has always aimed to train professionals who have a positive impact and inspire society. With this partnership, I believe the two parties will accompany each other in training talented generations who will make meaningful contributions to society.”

Sharing about this collaboration, Mr. Ha Tuan Anh, Deputy General Director of Saigontourist Cable Television (SCTV), said: "SCTV was established based on the cooperation between Vietnam Television (VTV) and Saigontourist Corporation. Currently, SCTV has become the leading cable television service provider in Vietnam, with 21 channels broadcast nationwide and a wealth of resources. I believe that SCTV is able to not only support students in the communication field but also accompany them in many other areas such as technology, Film & Television Directing, Theater Acting, Film & Television,...”

This signing ceremony opens up new development opportunities, allowing Van Lang University students not only to study but also to practice in real-world environments. Van Lang University and Saigontourist Cable Television (SCTV) both hope to create meaningful collaborative outcomes that contribute positively to the community and society.
