On December 14, 2024, the Van Lang Unitour 2025 Career Orientation and Experience Festival series officially commenced at its first destination: Pleiku City, Gia Lai Province. Alongside the Van Lang Unitour 2025 Opening Ceremony, Van Lang University collaborated with the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Pleiku City to host an engaging and impressive cultural performance competition among high schools in Pleiku City.
In 2024, Van Lang University launched the Van Lang Unitour Career Orientation and Experience Festival across four provinces: Gia Lai, Ben Tre, Binh Thuan, and Lam Dong. Among these, the program's inaugural event in Gia Lai stood out with the largest scale, positively influencing students' decisions regarding their majors. The university welcomed 240 students from Gia Lai, including 144 from Pleiku City, who enrolled at Van Lang in 2024, placing Gia Lai among the top 14 provinces and cities with the highest number of students admitted to Van Lang nationwide. With the enthusiastic support of the Pleiku City People's Committee, the Youth Union of Gia Lai Province, the Pleiku City Youth Union, and high schools across the city, Van Lang University is delighted to return to the starting point of its Van Lang Unitour 2025 journey in Pleiku City, Gia Lai Province.
Building on the success of its inaugural year, Van Lang Unitour 2025 expands its scale with a more elaborate investment in program content and experiential career guidance activities. Accompanying students nationwide, Van Lang Unitour is a journey across provinces, bringing students closer to real-world career experiences. At Pleiku City, 30 interactive activities representing nine academic fields were passionately curated by the lecturers and students of Van Lang Univesity's faculties and institutes. These activities offered students hands-on engagement with professions and specialized knowledge in an enjoyable and relaxed atmosphere.
In addition to hands-on activities exploring skills and specialized knowledge, high school students visited the counseling area to have their questions answered and receive career guidance on all academic programs offered by Van Lang University. The students showed great enthusiasm during the stage session on scientifically choosing a major using the Holland Code methodology. These valuable insights were especially beneficial for 12th graders preparing to navigate the significant transitions of the 2025 admissions season.
In the cool, crisp weather of the highland region during the year's final days, all the guests, teachers, and students seemed to draw closer together, radiating energy to support the evening's stage program—a special event of Van Lang Unitour, dedicated exclusively to high school students from Pleiku City. The warm reception from the local authorities and the charm and friendliness of the students from Pleiku left a lasting impression on the teachers and students of Van Lang University during this trip.
With the aim of recognizing and motivating outstanding students from Gia Lai who have achieved excellent academic results, Van Lang University, in collaboration with the Pleiku Youth Union, organized the "Outstanding Youth Recognition Ceremony," awarding 20 scholarships to talented high school students in Pleiku City who have excelled in both their studies and extracurricular activities, achieving impressive awards.
As part of the Van Lang Unitour 2025 in Gia Lai, Van Lang University, in collaboration with the Pleiku Youth Union, organized a Cultural Performance Competition featuring seven remarkable acts. These performances, meticulously crafted by talented students from Phan Boi Chau High School, Hung Vuong Specialized High School, Le Loi High School, Nguyen Chi Thanh High School, Hoang Hoa Tham High School, Pleiku High School, and Chi Lang High School, showcased a rich diversity of artistic flair. Some of the performances had previously won high awards in local and school-level competitions, while others were entirely new, prepared specifically for the Van Lang Unitour event. All the acts shared a heartfelt expression of patriotism and pride in Vietnam's homeland and people, earning enthusiastic applause from the audience and leaving a profound impression on the Van Lang community.

In response to the students' dedicated preparation for their performances, Van Lang University students also presented Van Lang Unitour with vibrant and distinctive artistic gifts.
In the spirit of cultural and artistic exchange between Van Lang University students and Gia Lai high school students, a highlight of this year's Van Lang Unitour was a unique fashion show featuring graduation project designs by students from Van Lang University's Fashion Design program. The special collections drew inspiration from the spiritual life, natural landscapes, and mountain forests of the Central Highlands: Lolipop Girl by designer Minh Chi (alumna of Class 26), The Semper Augustus by designer Thao Men (alumna of Class 26), and Dai Ngan (Jungle) by designer Ha Phuong (alumna of Class 24). The special aspect is that the models showcasing these designs were high school students from Pleiku City, bringing excitement and delight to the entire audience.
The series of career experience events, Van Lang Unitour 2025, will continue its journey from January to April 2025 across 8 provinces: Lam Dong, Dak Lak, Binh Dinh, Khanh Hoa, Binh Thuan, Tien Giang, Binh Duong, and Ba Ria – Vung Tau.
