On May 11, 2025, the Van Lang Unitour 2025 Career Orientation Experience Festival continued its journey and made a stop in Tay Ninh province. With active cooperation from the Tay Ninh Department of Education and Training and local high schools, the program welcomed nearly 1,500 students, delivering a vibrant and richly experiential event.
With the mission to be a strong bridge connecting the university and high school students, Van Lang Unitour 2025 has visited 7 provinces and cities across the country. At each stop, the program not only provided career counseling sessions but also opened up multi-disciplinary experience spaces including: Engineering – Technology, Law – Business – Management, Design, Arts, Architecture, Communications, Health Sciences, Social Sciences and Humanities...

Mr. Phan Minh Tung – Deputy Director of the Tay Ninh Department of Education and Training – remarked: “Van Lang Unitour is a very useful activity for students to accurately assess their own abilities, from which they can choose suitable fields of study to later contribute to building their hometown and country.”

One of the most impressive highlights of the program was the unique fashion show created by students from the Fashion Design Department of Van Lang University. Collections such as “Shapes of the Homeland” and “Lion Dance Cat” (Designer Nguyen Minh Khoi – Class 27), “OHNE SORGE” (Designer Nguyen Lam Phuong Mai – Class 28), and “Homeless – Cartoon is home” (Designer Do Hoang Quoc Thang – Class 27) showcased the creativity and distinctive personalities of each young designer.
The fashion outfits designed by the Fashion Design students were modeled by high school students themselves, delivering creative and surprising catwalk performances.
Especially notable was the appearance of the “Rice Paper” costume – which won Second Prize in the national traditional costume design contest at Miss Universe Vietnam 2022 and was chosen to represent Vietnam at Miss Charm 2023. This piece excited and delighted both students and teachers. It was created by designer Phan Xuan Giau – Class 27 student and former student of Nguyen Van Troi High School in Tay Ninh Province. Inspired by a local specialty, Xuan Giau infused the costume with soul to create a fashion piece deeply imbued with Tay Ninh’s cultural identity.

As part of the program, Van Lang University also awarded 12 commendations to students with excellent academic and extracurricular achievements, along with 10 awards for high-performing students in science and technology competitions. These recognitions serve as practical encouragements, motivating students on their path to pursue dreams and conquer knowledge.

Not only offering impressive performances, Van Lang Unitour also created opportunities for Tay Ninh students to experience a creative and practical learning environment through 27 career orientation classes. Students directly interacted with Van Lang lecturers to learn about admissions, training programs, scholarships, and more. These activities also helped students identify personal strengths, explore interests, and make informed decisions about suitable fields for their future journeys.
The career orientation classes were organized by academic groups and taught by faculty members, providing students with realistic and in-depth perspectives on future careers.
Van Lang Unitour featured 33 diverse experiential zones, where students engaged in hands-on activities such as: experiencing dried fruit production processes; exploring solar ovens and solar radiation; sketching and watercolor-marker rendering; applying College Art methods to decorate tote bags; learning European-style table setting; blending herbal medicinal oils; and musical exchanges with lecturers and students from the Music, Theater, and Film faculties.
Additionally, interactive minigames about careers received enthusiastic responses from students. They not only had fun but also had opportunities to showcase talents, develop skills, and explore themselves in engaging, relatable ways. These experiences will serve as the first stepping stones, helping students confidently outline their academic and career paths ahead.
Students enthusiastically participated in activities across more than 30 experiential zones representing various careers.
Van Lang Unitour 2025 in Tay Ninh concluded with many emotions and memorable moments. Through career guidance and experiential activities, it is hoped that Tay Ninh students better understand their abilities and interests and confidently move forward on their path to pursuing dreams.
