In this second round of quality assessment, the University is honored to welcome the assessor delegation to work directly on the main campus from August 27-29, 2024, following the guidelines of the AUN-QA 4.0 version, issued in 2022. This new assessment method will combine both on-site and online formats. With relentless efforts, VLU commits to provide the assessors with a realistic and comprehensive view of the investment, program development , as well as the achievements that Van Lang University has made in enhancing the quality of education.
During the training session, Dr. Nguyen Huu Cuong and Ms. Tran Ngoc Hanh briefly presented Plan No. 646/KH-ĐHVL, outlining the implementation timeline, detailed task assignments for each unit, and the coordination between departments to prepare for the AUN-QA on-site visit. Special emphasis was placed on the new points introduced in the latest AUN-QA guidelines.
In her speech at the training session, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi My Dieu, President of the University, particularly emphasized the responsibilities and roles of the stakeholders as stated in Plan No. 646/KH-ĐHVL. The President requested that all units and departments adhere strictly to their assigned tasks to ensure that the AUN-QA standards are comprehensively implemented, and that the reception of the AUN-QA assessor delegation is conducted with professionalism and efficiency.
The training session demonstrated VLU’s special attention to preparing for the AUN-QA on-site visit. By equipping managers and lecturers with essential information, the training session ensured the validation and affirmation of the quality of the Fashion Design and Interior Design programs at Van Lang University. This not only highlights the University's continuous efforts to ensure educational quality but also opens opportunities to establish its reputation among other universities in Vietnam and the Southeast Asia region.
