From July 1 to July 7, 2022, four undergraduate programs of the Van Lang University including Software Engineering, Interior Design, Fashion Design, and Public Relation had training sessions on the course design, teaching and assessment according to OBE (Outcome-Based Education) and AUN-QA (ASEAN University Network – Quality Assurance). These training sections aim to improve the programs for the quality assessment according to the AUN-QA assessment standard at the program level version 4.0.

The training sessions focused on supporting the programs to improve their quality to meet the requirements of the AUN-QA standard; guiding the course design, teaching and assessment according to the OBE model. The consultants analyzed the program contents that need further improvement. Prior to these training sections, to prepare to work with the consultants, the teachers reviewed all the programs and detailed subject outlines.

The improvement of the programs is of particular interest to leaders of Van Lang University. In addition, it needs the efforts of the faculties, departments and related units to help the programs be reviewed, revised and improved in quality. This improvement process will help the programs meet the needs of learners, the requirements of employers, as well as compatible with those of countries in the region and around the world.

These training sections were organized by the Department of Quality Assurance in collaboration with four programs registering for AUN-QA quality assessment.
