Training on Program Accreditation Based on MOET Standards for Lecturers of 4 Faculties at Van Lang University

On the afternoon of August 5th, 2022, the Quality Assurance Department organized a workshop on program accreditation according to the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) standards (Circular No. 04/2016/TT-BGDDT dated 14/3/2016). Attending the workshop were 34 lecturers from 4 faculties (Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Nursing and Medical Technology, Faculty of Theatre and Cinema Arts) and staff members of the Quality Assurance Department.

Dr. Nguyen Huu Cuong, Manager of the Quality Assurance Department presented the requirements and notes when the Faculty proceeded to write the self-assessment report. In addition, Dr. Nguyen Huu Cuong highlighted what content should be included in the report.

The lecturers attending the workshop discussed the difficulties that the University need to pay attention to support the faculties during the process of undertaking the self-assessment.

At the end of the training session, the lecturers were aware of the self-assessment process and the assessment standards and criteria. However, the faculties still need support from the Department of Quality Assurance and other relating units during the process of preparing the self-assessment report.
