Top 10 Achievements of the Quality Assurance Department, Van Lang University

The Department of Quality Assuarance, Van Lang University has made great efforts to successfully complete all the assigned tasks in quality assurance, accreditation, rankings and stakehoholders’ satisfaction surveys, contributing to the development of VLU.  

1. Presiding over the implementation of the institutional accreditation with the national standards (3rd cycle) and FIBAA (European standards)  
2. Coordinating the accreditation of 9 programs according to the national standards  
3. Participating in the i-graduate global internation survey for the first time (the International Student Barometer with the participation of more than 4 million students from over 1,400 universities worldwide)
4. Being the focal point to collect and submit the data for VLU to participate in THE Impact Rankings
5. Having 3 papers published in WoS/Scopus-indexed journals and 6 papers published in the domestic journals  
6. Presenting 4 papers at international conferences and 1 paper at national conference  
7. Welcoming 3 delegations of universities to visit and discuss about quality assurance and accreditation  
8. Enhancing professional competencies: 1 person received AUN-QA Tier 2 cerfificate; 1 person passed the national accreditor qualifying exam; 2 persons finished the accreditor training program; staff members of the Department completed 693 professional training training hours (achieving 172% of KPIs)  
9. Organising training in quality assurance and accreditation for more than 400 managers, lecturers and staff members of VLU  
10. The Department of Quality Assurance received the 2023 Excellent Contribution Award
