On June 25, 2025, Van Lang University (VLU) and the University of Seoul (UOS, South Korea) jointly organized the Summer School 2025, providing updates on emerging trends in next-generation wireless communication technologies, promoting scientific research, enhancing training quality, and expanding international academic collaboration.

The program aimed to strengthen specialized knowledge for lecturers, graduate students, and undergraduates in the field of wireless communication, particularly antenna technologies for 5G/6G networks and UAV-assisted communication - one of today’s most advanced technological trends.

With the participation of lecturers from Van Lang University and experts from the University of Seoul, the Summer School 2025 featured a series of in-depth lectures on next-generation wireless communication technologies, digital solutions, and industry integration skills. Each lecture not only delivered cutting-edge knowledge but also stimulated innovative thinking and inspired research among lecturers and students. The program included:

  • Lecture 1: Advancements in Antenna Technology for 5G/6G Wireless Communication – Dr. Nguyen Truong Khang
  • Lecture 2: Korea’s Industrial Structure & Future Tech Investments – Prof. YoungGil Kim
  • Lecture 3: Powering the Future: Digital Solutions for a Sustainable World – Dr. Nguyen Thanh Huy
  • Lecture 4: Telecommunication-Related Industries in Korea: Skills required for individuals to enter the industry – Prof. YoungMin Kim

Minseok Song, a student from the Department of Electronic Engineering at Chonnam National University (South Korea), presented the topic “Where Do Electronics Engineering Graduates Work?”, offering practical insights into the employment market for Electronics Engineering undergraduates in South Korea.

The Summer School 2025 not only offered diverse perspectives from Vietnamese and Korean scholars but also created an academic forum that fostered connections between faculty and students, encouraging knowledge exchange and orienting participants toward advanced research. This initiative represents a meaningful academic collaboration between Van Lang University and the University of Seoul, contributing to the development of an international learning environment in communication technology.
