Cinema was introduced to Vietnam in the late 1890s, but it wasn't until 1923 that the first French-Vietnamese film appeared. Vietnamese cinema is becoming increasingly strong. This is also an art subject linked to the country's historical process, as it has gone through three stages: resistance (1953-1975), unification to build the country (1976-1985), and innovation and international integration (1986-present).

Director Le Thanh Son shared, "Intellect in this profession is very important. We must transmit not only knowledge but also the mind. It comes from the heart; you won't find it anywhere or at school. "Intellect” comes from the first day we meet our first lecturers and seniors."

According to screenwriter Tran Khanh Hoang, the directing industry is both technical and "mind-to-mind". Fortunately, his seniors instilled in him a sense of optimism and enthusiasm during his studies. These are important lessons that have helped him get to where he is today. In addition, screenwriter Tran Khanh Hoang "revealed" an upcoming film with Director Le Thanh Son called "Mong Vuot (The Claw)".

In addition to the enthusiastic sharing from experts in the profession, the Faculty of Theater and Cinema Arts organized and commended 7 works of the Faculty's students at 2 competitions.
